View snapshot link details

TimeFinder SnapVX is a local replication solution that is designed to non-disruptively create point-in-time copies (snapshots) of critical data.

Steps

To view the snapshot link details:

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Click Protection and select Manual SnapVX from the Protected Storage Groups section of the summary panel.
  3. Select a storage group, click An icon showing the letter i, and click the number next to Number of Snapshots.
  4. Select a snapshot and select An icon showing the letter i to open the snapshot Details view.
  5. Click the number next to Links to open the snapshot Links list view.
  6. Select a snapshot and select An icon showing the letter i to open the snapshot links Details view.

    The snapshot link Details view enables you to view and manage the linked volume pairs.

    The following properties display:

    • Source Volume—Name of the source volume
    • Linked Volumes—Name of the linked volumes
    • State—Snapshot state
    • Flags (FCMD)—Snapshot flags (possible values are: Failed, Copied, Modified, Defined (FCMD))
